Ron Stodghill is an author and award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in such publications as the New York Times, Time, and Business Week. He is also the former editor-in-chief of the African American lifestyle magazine, Savoy. Educated at the University of Missouri, Queens University of Charlotte, and Harvard University, where he studied as a Nieman Fellow, Stodghill is author of Redbone: Money Malice and Murder in Atlanta, coauthor of No Free Ride, former U.S. Congressman Kweisi Mfume’s bestselling memoir, and Where Everybody Looks Like Me. Stodghill, an assistant professor at Johnson C. Smith University, resides in Charlotte with his wife and three sons.
